Community Outreach
The ultimate goal of the Miami Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital is to reduce the rate of complications and death from cancer in our community. To this end, the Center has expanded its approach in community outreach and educational efforts by addressing the needs of the community’s underserved population through Mercy’s Mission and Ethics department and the Saint John Bosco Clinic. This effort has been extended to Mercy’s own employees through its Health Promotions program.
Oncology Services Team
Staffed by a team of highly trained nurses, therapists, technicians and affiliated physicians the Miami Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital provides the most advanced cancer treatments in an environment that is both state-of-the-art and compassionate.

Other cancer program opportunities identified by the advisory team include support programs, enhanced nutrition services and the development of a comprehensive palliative care program.
