An important component of The Heart Center is the Mercy Hospital Arrhythmia Syncope Center. A collaborative project between Mercy Hospital and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, the center is a dedicated outpatient arrhythmia syncope treatment facility.

What makes the Mercy Hospital Arrhythmia Syncope Center so unique
is that it fills an important void in the community by offering a full range of state-of-the-art outpatient
electrophysiological assessments and arrhythmia and syncope
treatments including tilt table testing, cardioversions, ablations,
mapping, primary and secondary implant insertions, and implant
programming evaluations on an outpatient basis. Led by medical
director, Alberto Interian, Jr., MD, FACC, a well-known expert in the field of
electrophysiology, the Arrhythmia Syncope Center is part of the truly unrivaled Heart Center at Mercy Hospital.
