The application process requires the following five steps:
- Take and pass the pre-entrance exam
You are required to pass this exam before proceeding further with the application process. Registration for the exam is completed directly with the school. You may retake this exam after six months. The exam may only be taken twice.
A study guide is available titled: National League for Nursing Review Guide for LPN/LVN Pre-Entrance Exam 2nd Edition at a cost of $35.00.
- Complete the application for admission form
You will receive the admission form upon passing the pre-entrance exam. The non-refundable application fee is submitted at this time.
- Submit three letters of reference
You will need to identify three individuals you have known for at least two years and have them submit the letter of reference directly to the school. One of the references should be academic or employment related. Family members may not submit letters of reference. Reference forms are supplied by the school upon passing the pre-entrance exam.
- Submit official transcripts
You will need to request an official and authenticated high school transcript or G.E.D. test scores to be sent directly to the school. In addition, official
transcripts of any college or vocational courses taken are required.
- Interview
The interview will be conducted by appointment and will occur when all other application requirements have been met.
