The Heart Center at Mercy Hospital is a full-service program for the management and treatment of heart disease, from simple to complex cases.  The Center is comprised of a Cardiology Division, a Cardiothoracic Surgery Division and the Arrhythmia Syncope Center. The Heart Center is among the most technologically advanced for diagnostic and treatment procedures for patients with simple to complex heart disease. The Cardiovascular Laboratory (CVL) at The Heart Center is equipped with modern technology, including the Innova® 3131IQ, a versatile new digital imaging system enhances the capabilities of physicians to diagnose and treat a variety of diseases of the heart and blood vessels. The CVL is staffed by a team of experienced interventional cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons as well as trained registered nurses and cardiovascular technologists.

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Division offers an extensive range of cardiovascular services including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and valve repair or replacement, pioneering in off-pump bypass techniques. Cardiovascular surgeons affiliated with The Heart Center, have made significant quality-of-life improvements in patients over the past year using these cutting-edge procedures.
